8.1 Chemical Waste Program
The chemical waste management and disposal program at UMN is managed by the HSRM Regulated Waste Division. The primary responsibility of the HSRM Regulated Waste Division is to pick up, transport, process, and dispose of hazardous waste in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. This chapter of the CHP is a condensed version (tailored for laboratory use) of the University Chemical Waste Guidelines.
