IN-PERSON TRAINING
In-Person Training
Active Shooter Awareness: Active shooter incidents are unfortunate occurrences in today’s society. Do you know what to do should you find yourself encountering an active shooter? The instructor for this class reviews the choices of evacuating, hiding, or, as an option of last resort, challenging the shooter.
Basic First Aid: First aid is the initial assistance given to a sick or injured person until professional medical assistance arrives. This class does not include instruction on CPR.
Bystander (Hands Only) CPR: Each year over 300,000 people die in the U.S. from sudden cardiac arrest. The rapid response of bystanders saves lives. This session covers the steps to assist someone who has experienced sudden cardiac arrest, provides on opportunity to practice hands-only CPR, and reviews the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
