11.9 Respiratory Protection and Personal Protective Equipment
A NIOSH Approved Supplied-Air Respirator (SAR) or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) is required to enter a regulated area. Additional details regarding medical evaluation, fit testing, and training are included in the University Respiratory Protection Program. Cartridge respirators are explicitly forbidden for DCM use by the EPA and OSHA regulation.
